In this high energy, foundational class, we combine rounds of weighted hula hooping, dance, and strength training. We'll focus on core, coordination, legs, glutes and arms (YES, a full body workout!)---all while concentrating on keeping up your hoop. Build muscle, burn calories, and feel more confident as you build up your skill. Heads up...the hoop will drop...a lot! That's okay! The most important thing is that you pick your hoop up every time and keep going! In a single class, most Hulatics burn between 450-700 calories. * We all know exercise is important but who said it had to be so serious? Learn to have fun while working out and leave feeling challenged. With practice, the hoop becomes a magnet to your body. Guaranteed to tell a friend! Though it's a fun workout, we consider weighted hula hooping an elite sport. The more you practice, the more skilled you become and the greater your results! To start seeing results, try making it a weekly routine. Classes are held on Thursdays from 6:30pm-7:20pm starting January 12th, and will run through March 23rd.
